General information

Three awards of $5,000 are available to eligible students. Students must:

  • Be a full-time student enrolled in the Faculty of Engineering and Applied Science.
  • Have the highest admissions average in one of the following programs: Mechanical Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronic Engineering or Nuclear Engineering.

About the Donor

OPG has delivered the latest technology through its investment in high-end laboratories housed in Ontario Tech University’s OPG Engineering Building. With a major nuclear facility on either side of Oshawa, company officials view the investment as succession planning for their specialized industry.
