General information	Two awards are available to eligible students. Applicants must: Demonstrate financial need. Have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 or an average of 75%. Preference will be given to students of Canadian Indigenous descent.
About the Donor	Through the Great Blue Heron Charity Casino, the Baagwating Community Association chose to donate to Ontario Tech University to encourage local growth and sustainability. As one of the original supporters of the Campaign for the New U, the association recognized early the benefits of growing Durham’s knowledge-based, success-driven student and professional sectors. More recently, the association made a significant gift toward an Indigenous Centre.
