General information	Six awards are available. To be eligible, students must: Have an average between 90 and 94.9 per cent in their last year of high school. One award will be given to a student from each eligible faculty.
About the Donor	While her parents had no formal education, Anne Sabat’s mom and dad understood the value of it and believed that a good education would have given them many more options in life. As a new Canadian, her father struggled without proper training. He followed the Canadian railway eating wild berries until he finally stopped in Oshawa, met his wife and created a life for them. Education was always a popular family discussion. As a result, Anne set up a planned gift and bursary in their memory. Her parents always recognized when an opportunity presented itself. Anne’s hope was that students will do the same through the Sabat Family bursary.
