Program timelines

As a student employee, you are responsible for staying updated with important dates and deadlines involved with the University Works program. The fall/winter program and the summer program have unique dates and deadlines to be aware of.

 

Dates for each stage of the University Works program
Friday, June 21

The University Works application will open for students to apply. The application will be open for six weeks. 

Please note:

  • Students must be registered in full-time undergraduate studies in the current academic year (September to April) to be eligible for the UW program. Students registered with Student Accessibility Services must be registered in at least a 40% course load (2 classes per semester).
  • Professional or graduate level programs are not eligible in the University Works program.

Friday, August 2

Last day for students to apply for the University Works program.

Tuesday, August 6

 Jobs will begin to be posted on the Student Life Portal.

Tuesday, September 3

First day of the fall program.

Friday, December 13

Last day of the fall program.

Monday, January 6

First day of the winter program.

Friday, April 11

Last day of the winter program.

The University Works application will open for students to apply. The application will be open for seven weeks.

Friday, April 5

Last day for students to apply for the summer University Works program.

Monday, April 8

 Jobs will begin to be posted on the Student Life Portal.

Monday, May 6

First day of the summer program.

Friday, August 16

Last day of the summer program.
