Program timelines

As a student employee, you are responsible for staying updated with important dates and deadlines involved with the University Works program. The fall/winter program and the summer program have unique dates and deadlines to be aware of.

Fall and winter 2026-2027
Summer 2026 - closed

Dates for each stage of the University Works program
June 19, 2026	The University Works application will open for students to apply. The application will be open for six weeks. Please note: Students must be registered in full-time undergraduate studies in the current academic year (September to April) to be eligible for the UW program. Students registered with Student Accessibility Services must be registered in at least a 40 per cent course load (two classes per semester). Professional or graduate level programs are not eligible in the University Works program.
July 31, 2026	Last day for students to apply for the University Works program.
August 7, 2026	Jobs will begin to be posted on the Student Life Portal.
September 8, 2026	First day of the fall program.
December 11, 2026	Last day of the fall program.
January 11, 2027	First day of the winter program.
April 16, 2027	Last day of the winter program.
