About the Donor	Herman Kassinger knew how to build communities. At one point in time, 1 out of every 15 Oshawa homes had been constructed by his company. Schools are a key component to every quality neighbourhood, which is why supporting Ontario Tech is a natural extension of Herman’s own philosophy. A philanthropic man who gave substantial gifts to his community, his charitable foundation continues his giving legacy by helping young people achieve their academic goals at Ontario Tech.
