One award of $1,500 is available to a student who is participating in international study at the University of Pecs in Hungary. Preference will be given to a student who demonstrates an understanding of and/or appreciation for the Hungarian culture.

About the Donor |
Representatives from the Oshawa Hungarian Culture Club gathered with university staff on December 6, 2018 to celebrate the newly established, Oshawa Hungarian Culture Club Award Endowment. The award provides $3,000 each year to a full-time Ontario Tech University undergraduate student studying at University of Pécs in Hungary. In addition, $1,500 is available for full-time undergraduate student of the University of Pecs who is studying here. Participating in an international exchange has many benefits for university students: while abroad, they build professional relationships, develop new interests and valuable skills they can use in their academic, professional and personal lives. |
