Submitting hours
University Works students are responsible for submitting their hours every other Friday by 5 p.m.
To submit your hours:
- Visit MyOntarioTech and navigate to Current Students
- Scroll down to the blue Student Awards and Financial Aid box, and select University Works timesheet
- Select the Enter Time button on the left side.
- Select Start Timesheet for the current time period.
- Enter your hours worked under the appropriate dates.
- Note: click save after each date you enter in order to move on to the next.
- Select Preview once you have entered all of your hours for the pay period.
- Press Submit when you have confirmed that the hours entered are correct.
Additional notes:
- Save as you go—you can go back and make changes before you submit.
- Once a timesheet has been submitted, you will no longer be able to make edits. If your timesheet requires changes after you have submitted it, please notify your employer.
- Hours submitted on statutory holidays or university closures will not be approved. Please refer to the Holiday Schedule on the Employee Resources page for a list of statutory holidays and university closure dates.
At the start of employment, you’ll receive a timesheet submission schedule outlining the important submission dates.
